Blog Hop of Retiring Colors 2020 to 2022

2020 – 2022 colors will be ending May 2022

Soon to be gone….sadly….love these colors. Yes, knew ones are coming but I have grown to love these colors, especially Misty Moonlight…it goes with my favorite blue Night of Navy.

Oh, yes…willmiss these greatly.

My storage of 220 to 2022 colors

Yes, every 2 years, one set of colors retire and a new set of colors come. The major colors keep on, like brights, subtle, regals, etc… I love getting the new colors cause it makes your creations more interesting. Color is color, truly inspiring

Misty Moonlight is my go to color. I made the base by cutting it to,4-1/4″ by 8-1/2″. Scored at 4-1/4″. I stamped the greeting with Misty Moonlight on white. First on 4″ X 4″. I also cut white for inside.

My first attempt…to much white
My 5hird attempt

As I was trying to post this, my internet went out and I lost everything…so I had to reload everything. I have autosave, but it erased that, too…..ugh….

one retired, one new.

The stamp set I used, Happiest Birthdays, is now retired. It was on the retired list a few weeks back and now sold out. That makes it a collectors item. The other set bottle of Happiness is available May 3, or available now if you like to join my team, you also get 20% off all purchases. Give it a thought, you choose what you like for your first order for a kit….lots of freebies, too.

  1. I like the first card just fine – there’s a kind of symmetry with the white spaces that make it look just fine! Thanks for sharing 😀

  2. Great card..sad to see the stamp set and in colors retiring.
Thank you for hopping with us.

  3. I am going to miss these colours, especially Misty Moonlight. I like both of your cards.
