I have been under the weather. The season is changing…so thankful. I am moving slow but push myself to get out everyday walking. I always walk the dog but now I walk more when the weather is nice. Yesterday, it snowed here, but I still walked. I do a extra walk.
Creating new cards, need sympathy cards, thank you cards, get well card. I thought I had extra, I do not, wow, they are going out fast. I am behind on Birthday cards, too.
The above card is a mish match. A little of this and a little of that. I do it often. Save those scraps of paper….be it DSP (Designer series paper or plain cardstock that I have stamped. You stack ontop of each other, creates something unique. I also like vellum and I cut that out with punches or dies. I have them ready and pick them here and there. You can see I used a punch of a circle. I add embellishments, the bird I found in some embellishments I bought at dollar store. I have to stay away from dollar store, I purchase to much.
The happy Birthday is from a stamp set I truly love, Botanical Bliss Cling-Mount Stamp Set. It has matching dies.
This is a book mark using the dies. They have so many uses. I used the Night of Navy and Daffodil Delight. University of Michigan Colors. I love Stampin Up paper, you can find your school colors and create lasting memories. The bookmark has been used, so it is a little ratty, a memory I made to celebrate a special occasion.
Loved making this card for my brother. He is super special. We have birthdays on the same day.
I was born on his 4th birthday along with my twin sister…yes, 3 birthdays in one day. Our lives changed in 2014 as my twin passed away from a stroke at 56. My days have never been the same but I press on, move on but always have her in my heart and mind. Life is different, never will be the same.
I had to do this card in steps. Yes, my arthritis kicked on a revenge. My hands could not function. Like typing this right now is not simple. I use to type for a living, now I pray I can do keyboarding just a little. I press on. You have to, it is the only choice you have.
The card is simple but striking.
This high-quality printed paper is excellent scrapbook paper, card making paper, and more. Pack includes various golf-themed images, prints, and patterns. It’s a great choice for masculine cards and projects. I love the plaids.

Just days away is Valentine’s Day. I make cards, so I make Valentine’s Day Cards to give. This Card I made for my husband. We have Several cats and he loves them. It is goofy we never had cats growing up in our family or his. We have been married…33 years..wow and most of that time we have had at least one cat. They just come knocking on our door. Where we live, sadly, people just throw them out of their cars. Yes, it makes me sick. We have many cats and a dog. Miguel is a chihuahua who we adopted from a local shelter…we have had him for 7 of his 10 years, he is a sweetie.

Yes, I have Osteoartritis but I still am trying to enjoy life and bring love to others. Some days it is not good, some days good. I create cards, lots of cards. I am trying to use my arthiritc hands everyday, yes, I fumble, I drop and sometimes cry.
I have to do things in spurts, no marathon creating. My life has changed greatly. No fun but I have to deal with it cause there is no cure.
The above card is so easy and fun. It is from the Sentimental Bundle.
I have to watch my pennies and I was blessed with the lovely paper in a sample pack that you get when you join Stampin Up during celebration.

Inking Errors, what do you do?? Start over, sometimes. But what about that shadow by that “Y” you see above…scrap it? Flip over the paper and use the other side…yes you could the reink. I keep it…yes. You do the cover up technique. Use a rinestone, or some greenery from a die cut out or just a little circle. Yes, circles are my friend.
Birthday Jubilee is my go to stamp set of late. It is great alone or you can get the matching die set. I went with the just the stamp set, wish I bought the matching dies… I am going to put on my wish list.
Had alot of hard days of late. Can not do what I want to do when I want to do it. First it is Arthiritis and second little Money. Today I was to go to my doctor but to be honest I did not go cause I did not have the $35 co-pay, plus I already have a running bill. My life is not what I like, do what I can to be happy, move on and face it.
I love making these tags, simple and fun. The paper is old but I use what I have. Yes, I have to much. My storage space is not there, I am working on a system but a small 2 bedroom house, there is no space…just the way it is. I am thankful we do not have a big house, big house big taxes.
Yes, I have been down. Under the weather. Yesterday, I had to get out after a week of being down. I was in a bad way, hurting so bad. Hopefully, better days ahead.
The cared I am sharing today is a little of everything. Yes, I do it often. A little of this, a little of that. Not all one company, not all the latest and add some bling.
I did use a current stamp set above with a little of squares of some of beautiful this and that paper. Yes, it creates a one of a kind card. Spread your wings do something fun, play. I did add a touch of vellum also and it adds a new texture.
The day begins with lining up what to do? Yikes, so many things to get done before play time. Dishes and laundry. Yes, than figuring out dinner. Does not seem like much but live with arthritis is no fun. You can not do what you want to do when you want to do it. The body just hurts and does not move on call.
Here is a card I worked on…but I have to make Birthday, Sympathy and Get Well Card.
This is a technique I love to do. You use crumb cake card stock, stamp with black memento ink. You color with white water color pencil and than blend with blenders. Blenders are so cool cause you spread the color without water. I than used pink centers. I fussy cut the little extras and put on with dimensionals. The stamp design was from last years Sale a Bration. The stamp set can be any stamp.
