Yes, this is one I did do in my old blog and was deleted when I switch to another blog host.
Simple Card, just you basic 8-1/2 x 5-1/2 card base, with scoring at 4-1/4″.
The white is card layer One which is basic white cut to 4″ x 5-1/4″. I cut alot of these to have ready and on hand
This technique is called stencil …just like any stencil. The heart is from a die cut layed out on the card and sponge daub with a dauber all the way around…one color…slick technique you will use again and again.
I am posting this cause I love this set and most likely after June 2021 it will not be around anymore. I use the dies for many different cards from Birthdays to weddings.
The stamp set is called Meant to Be, a go to set that I use over and over.
The matching dies are used for so many occassions, like I said before, it is my go to set.
If you notice, you do not need the stamp set….you can use the die set on its own….so cool.
Where did you get that stamp? I get that alot on my creations. It is old, real old from the 90’s. Yikes, that is old. The company that made it is no longer in business. The heart background is also punched from a punch from many years ago…eek. Why do you hang on to them? Cause I like them and use them. If crafting days together come back, after Covid, they will come in handy.
Do you hang onto oldie but goodies. I do have an issue..space/room. I have so much, doing this for so long, I need to thin out. In the mean time will enjoy and use.
If you need to add to you creating, the below sets or known bundles are here now but may be gone in June 2021? I love them, they are on my dream list, but right now, I need ink more than more stamp sets. I would like the dies. Oh Yes, dies…back to the Cut and emboss machine, will get back to that in the coming days.
Make a card, give a card. spread the joy! Create Joy, Give Joy!
Inking Errors, what do you do?? Start over, sometimes. But what about that shadow by that “Y” you see above…scrap it? Flip over the paper and use the other side…yes you could the reink. I keep it…yes. You do the cover up technique. Use a rinestone, or some greenery from a die cut out or just a little circle. Yes, circles are my friend.
Birthday Jubilee is my go to stamp set of late. It is great alone or you can get the matching die set. I went with the just the stamp set, wish I bought the matching dies… I am going to put on my wish list.
